Jang Doo-seok debuted in 1980 through the TBC's 2nd Comedy Contest and quickly rose to fame with his appearances on various KBS comedy programs like 'Humor No. 1' and 'Show Video Jockey'. His characters, especially the 'Fan Master' (부채도사), left an indelible mark on Korean pop culture. The catchphrase "Excuse me, excuse me, please excuse me" became a household saying, capturing the essence of his unique comedic style.

Beyond television, Jang Doo-seok also explored the world of radio and music. From 2011 to 2013, he hosted the SBS weekend radio show 'Joyful Weekend with Jang Doo-seok', connecting with listeners through his witty and warm-hearted dialogue.
